To determine the capabilities of this splitboard, the Burton team took a professional in natural terrains and completely unleashed him in nature, specifically in backcountry practice. Some reflections and work later, the Splitboard Flight Attendant was born! A 100% freeride splitboard with a blend of airy directional shape and the feel of a twin freestyle. Its design reflects the freedom of vast, untouched fields, steep full-mountain couloirs found far from resort slopes! It is compared to the Swiss army knife of outdoor freestyle!

Shape : Directional (10mm taper), with a directional shape designed with a nose slightly longer than the tail allowing to concentrate the pop at the tail for improved flotation in powder and on all terrains

Construction/Core : Core - FSC? Certified Super Fly II? 700G Core with Dualzone? EGD? and Squeezebox, Noyau Super Fly II 700G will use solid and lightweight woods to enliven the board without losing strength while reducing its weight. The wood grain designed with DualZone EGD is positioned along the edges, under the toes but also at the heel on two continuous zones perpendicular to the rest of the wooden core for improved and responsive edge hold.

Cambrian : Directional Camber, directional profile with camber under both feet for optimal stability in deep turns, combined with a rocker tip allowing for increased lift to improve floatation

Sole : Sintered WFO, WFO fritted base that incorporates a wax with a special formula deep into the pores for a sole that will absorb even more wax and therefore require less maintenance

Insert : Split The Channel®, Made In Burton System, the Split The Channel® system is a powerful and fast setup that will greatly facilitate the adjustment of your splitboard

Frostbite Edges : Squares that will stand out more at the supports, thus improving grip
