Bodyboard Flood Dynamx II – The perfect bodyboard for beginners

Easy from the first wave

Do you dream of sliding on your first waves without struggling? The Flood Dynamx II was designed for beginners seeking immediate sensations. Its generous shape and very good buoyancy offer reassuring stability. Even if it's your first bodyboarding session, you will be amazed at how easily you gain speed on the water. No need to be an athlete or a rowing pro: this board easily catches the wave and forgives small balance mistakes. Confidence guaranteed from the first foam ridden – enough to turn your learning into pure pleasure rather than a technical challenge!

An unbeatable value for money

Who said you need a big budget to have good equipment? Priced between €69.90 and €74.90 only (depending on size), the Flood Dynamx II offers exceptional value for money. Few bodyboards in this price range include so many high-end features: waterproof core, rigid slick, fiberglass stringer, not to mention the included leash. These are elements usually found on much more expensive models. By choosing the Dynamx II, you get your money's worth and even more – it's a smart investment to start without compromising on quality. Its robust construction will accompany you through many sessions, saving you from having to change boards after the first season. As a bonus, the included leash allows you to be ready to ride right after purchase, a complete pack ready for action at an unbeatable price!

Technical features decoded

Under its fun look, the Flood Dynamx II hides a serious construction inspired by pro boards. No need to be an expert to understand it: here are the main technical elements explained simply:
• Ultra-light EPS core: a rigid but very light EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam core that provides excellent buoyancy. The board supports the rider well, which helps beginners catch waves easily without getting exhausted. Additionally, this core is 100% waterproof and will not absorb water even after long sessions.
• Comfortable XPE deck: the top of the board is made of closed-cell XPE foam. This coating offers a soft touch and absorbs shocks, for more comfort when you are lying down. It resists impacts and prevents water from seeping in, ensuring a durable board that maintains its flex session after session.
• Rigid and smooth HDPE hull: the bottom (slick) is made of high-density HDPE plastic, a rigid and perfectly smooth surface. Result: the glide is smooth and fast, the board moves over the water with minimal friction. This slick also adds rigidity, which protects the board and gives it speed even in small soft waves.
• Fiberglass stringer: an internal reinforcement rod runs lengthwise through the board. This "stringer" acts like a backbone that prevents the board from bending too much or breaking in powerful waves. It gives the Flood Dynamx II a perfect balance between rigidity and flexibility: stiff enough to gain speed and stability, while still flexible enough under the elbows to better control direction.
• Tail Crescent (crescent tail): the back of the board is shaped like a crescent moon, a standard of modern bodyboards. This tail crescent fits the curve of your stomach and thighs when you are lying down, offering better support. You thus benefit from increased stability and good hold in turns, even in hollow waves.
• Channels: these are thin channels located on the hull, towards the tail. The Flood Dynamx II has these channels that channel water under the board. Specifically, they improve the board's grip on the face of the wave and directional stability. Thanks to them, you maintain your course better and avoid slipping sideways when you accelerate on a wave.
• Leash included: no unpleasant surprises, a leash is provided. It attaches at the arm (biceps) or wrist and connects you to the board. Essential for both beginners and pros, the leash prevents you from losing your bodyboard with every fall. You can catch wave after wave with peace of mind, without having to swim after your board!

Pleasure, adrenaline, and progress on the agenda

The ultimate goal of the Flood Dynamx II? To give you maximum pleasure as soon as you enter the water. With this board, every wave caught turns into pure happiness: you will quickly feel the thrill of gliding and the little adrenaline rush that makes bodyboarding so addictive. Above all, the Dynamx II builds the rider's confidence, encouraging fearless progress. Over the sessions, you will gain ease and try slightly bigger waves each time you go out. Thanks to the board's stability and buoyancy, you quickly develop a taste for the sensations and dare to try new things. Rapid progression guaranteed: very soon, you will move from simple white water to real waves, and why not to your first basic maneuvers. Every success, from the first successful take-off to the first turn on the wave, will put a big smile on your face! With the Flood Dynamx II, learning bodyboarding is stress-free and full of fun – enough to become addicted to the swell in no time.

What size board to choose?

Choosing the right size bodyboard is crucial, especially for a beginner, to enjoy optimal riding. The Flood Dynamx II is available in 2 sizes to suit your body type:
 • 37” (~94 cm) – Perfect for children and teenagers up to 1.55 m tall. This ultra-maneuverable size allows young riders to easily learn the basics of bodyboarding without being hindered by a board that is too bulky.

• 40” (~102 cm) – Recommended for small to medium builds (approximately up to 1.70 m). A shorter board will be more maneuverable in the water and perfect for teenagers or lightweight adults.
• 41” (~104 cm) – Ideal for riders from 1.65 m to 1.75 m. It is an excellent compromise between maneuverability and stability for medium builds who want a responsive board without sacrificing ease of wave catching.

• 42” (~107 cm) – Ideal for taller or bigger individuals (over about 1.75 m). This size offers more buoyancy and stability, making it easier to catch the wave for heavier builds.
• 44” (~112 cm) – Recommended for riders from 1.80 m to 1.90 m or those looking for more buoyancy. With its generous volume, this board makes paddling easier and allows for easier wave catching, perfect for the bigger riders.
• 45” (~114 cm and above) – Suitable for large builds (over 1.90 m). It offers excellent buoyancy and maximum stability, allowing comfortable riding even with a heavier weight.

Tip: holding the board upright in front of you, its nose (front) should reach roughly the level of your navel. If that's the case, the size is right! If in doubt between two sizes, the larger one will generally provide a bit more ease in catching waves (greater buoyancy), which can be reassuring during the first sessions. With the right board size, you give yourself the best chance to progress faster and enjoy every moment.
