Torq Epoxy Composite offers high-performance shapes in vacuum epoxy lamination. The vacuum epoxy process uses a manual lay-up method, with a vacuum bonding process to bond the fiber to the board and remove excess resin. This technique allows additional layers of fiber to be added while keeping the total weight low. The result is, therefore, exceptional lightness AND durability!
If you are used to the PU surfboard, these will feel faster at first. After just a few sessions, your old PU will seem very slow! The performance is very direct, so the TEC has an immediate response that is particularly good in smaller or weaker waves. In bigger waves, the advantage is that they are much less likely to break!
