Designed for boards with a wider tail and certain "fish" models, the 2-piece Roam pad is flat without an arch, with a low kick tail and a square groove that facilitates movement and repositioning of the back foot. Ideal for surfboards surfed in a less aggressive manner, such as "fish" and "skatey" boards, especially when you surf with a predominance on the front foot to gain speed and adjust your position on the board. It nevertheless offers excellent grip when you lean into a turn and press hard on the tail.
