The German roller brand Chaya (which means "life" in Hebrew) has come to give a new breath to quad skating, mainly in roller derby.

Boots: The Chaya Onyx quickly becomes our most popular derby shoe. The Onyx boots use a shell made from a unique compound of carbon, kevlar, and fiberglass. This shell acts as both the outer sole and counterfoot, providing rigid support from bottom to top. The low boot features a flexible collar that offers a wide range of motion and reduces abrasion. Inside, a soft microfiber lining is assisted by EVA foam padding that secures the foot in the right places. If that’s not enough, the Onyx is thermoformable.

At the heart of the Onyx boots is the Dual Center Mounting (DCM) system. Your Chaya plate can be attached to the boot with only two (2) screws. No more drilling, no more anxiety about making mistakes when mounting your boots. DCM is fast, simple, and efficient! DCM also allows you to move your plate forward and backward and also 3 mm from side to side to truly customize your setup. Customization at Chaya means more than just changing color, laces, or shaft. Customization means for us a TRUE customization from A to Z starting with the mounting and assembly of the plate.
