The Don XL Tec 8'6" Longboard Surfboard

The Torq board called The Don XL is a classic from Torq TEC, a high-performance mini longboard with more volume for better paddling and larger builds..

At size 8'6" with its 74.7 liters, it is perfect for the heaviest builds and those who want to catch as many waves as possible.

Type of waves: 30cm to 2.5m.

Skill level: Intermediate to advanced surfer of larger builds.

Outline: Generous volume with width at the nose for powerful paddling, stability, and easy takeoffs.

Rocker: Light at the front to medium in the middle to facilitate gliding and maintain drive.

Concave: Simple concave on the front third with a double in the middle then vee at the tail to generate drive and support on the rail.

Rails: Fairly round then more pinched on the rear third up to the tail to pass the flat sections while maintaining support and chaining the carves.

Tail: Round tail to facilitate turns and provide support on more powerful waves.

Fins: Not provided. Setup 2 Futures + 1 US box to surf with 3 (thruster) or 1 fin.

Construction: Torq Tec, EPS foam with glass in Epoxy resin and carbon reinforcements on top and bottom. The best weight/strength/performance ratio.
