Straight Snowboard Planche

The brand Slash presents the Straight Wide, which is none other than the first board designed in collaboration with the famous Austrian rider Gigi Rüf, who also participated in the Freeride World Tour!

Designed with a classic camber between the feet plus a good rocker at the nose and a lighter rocker at the tail, and we will call it the BackSeat Camrock! This camber will offer very good stability with excellent board control between the feet as well as at the heel, forgiving edge mistakes easily while not neglecting float and maneuverability in powder, all without losing its great freeride abilities! Good for everything, its directional shape as the name suggests is specifically designed to ride forward, a perfect shape for the slopes, carving, without neglecting its flotation in powder. The setback foot position will facilitate turn entries for perfect maneuverability in powder. As for its construction, the Straight is made from four types of wood: paulownia, spruce, beech, and poplar, allowing for a highly dynamic quality core, full of pop and at low weight. Equipped with a balanced flex, at high speed the Straight will remain stable and perfectly absorb vibrations, but that doesn't mean it will lose flex at the tips!

Terrain : Versatile - Freeride

Flex :6/10, A balanced flex, versatile and forgiving but stiff enough to be comfortable in the park, on piste, or in powder. This flex is the perfect flex for an All-Mountain ride

Shape : Directional, the binding will be moved slightly backward for a longer nose as well as a forward ride. This shape is the perfect shape for boards with a freeride appeal since it will allow the board to acquire excellent flotation in powder and increased edge hold if you carve on piste.

Construction/Core : Forever Woodcore, four wood essences, paulownia, spruce, beech, and poplar, allowing for a highly dynamic quality core, full of pop and at a lower weight

Cambrian : BackSeat Camrock, classic camber between the feet added to a good rocker at the nose and a lighter rocker at the tail

Squares : Diamond Stone Finish, 360° reinforced steel. Reinforced ABS edges

Inserts : 4x2

Sole : Sintered Base, sintered sole, enhancing speed without neglecting its durability which requires less maintenance
