Fun model from Torq, the PG-R is the board that everyone will surf 80% of the time, both for average surfing and for catching small barrels. It's the board you leave in your trunk so you don't miss any session.

Type of waves: 50cm to 1.5m.

Volume: 28.8l

Skill level: At size 5'8" this is a board for intermediate/advanced surfers or lightweight/children.

Delivered without the fins.

Outline: Fairly generous overall volume to provide a good paddle and easy take-offs.

Concave: Flat on the front third then simple concave in the middle to double then vee at the back to generate drive and support on the rail.

Rocker: Light rocker at the front and tail to generate speed and get through sections.

Rails: Fairly round then pinched at the waist to pass flat sections while maintaining support and chaining carves.

Tail: Large square tail to offer maximum glide and facilitate carves. Carbon reinforcement patch to reduce dents.

Fins: Not provided. Setup with 5 Futures plugs to surf with 3 (thruster) or 4 (quad) fins.

Construction: Torq Tec, EPS foam with glass fiber and Epoxy resin and carbon reinforcements. The best weight/strength/performance ratio. (See diagram)
